EDM Notify ("we") operates this website. This policy explains what we collect and why. We have tried to keep it to what is actually true of this site rather than boilerplate.

What we collect

• Newsletter email address — only if you enter it. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell or share it.
• Server logs — our web server records requests, including IP address, browser type and the page requested. These are used for security, rate limiting and diagnosing faults.
• Article view counts — an aggregate number per article. It is not tied to you.

We do not run advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking services, and we do not build profiles of readers.

Third parties

Some content is loaded from other services, which means those services receive your IP address and browser information when a page loads:

• Google Fonts, for typefaces.
• Image hosts, where artwork is served from an artist's, festival's or archive's own servers.
• Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own policies, not this one.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and you can ask us to delete your email address by writing to contact@edmnotify.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data — write to the same address and we will honour them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
