Mike D has released his debut solo album, ‘Thank You’, through Fontana. The Beastie Boys member’s 13-track record moves between rap, punk and club material, and arrives alongside a new live project, Mike D 5D, which takes in North America and Europe with his sons Skyler and Davis Diamond plus Eddie Ruscha, Will Graefe and Milo Ruscha.

Melé has announced his debut album. ‘Alive On Arrival’ lands on Defected Records on September 25 and runs to 14 tracks drawn from a 15-year career split between Liverpool, London and Miami. Guests include Jords, Lex Amor, Roland Clark, K.O.G, RIA, Wonky Logic, IRAH, Marla Kether, Reek0 and Bontan, and the title is taken from Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘C.R.E.A.M.’.

Josh Baker surprise-released a four-track EP, ‘Breaking Point’, on his YOU&ME imprint on August 28, with contributions from LEILAH, Capo Lee and Anabel Englund.

Silva Bumpa and Interplanetary Criminal issued ‘HOLD DA PHONE’ through Sony Records the same day, marking it with a pop-up at Manchester’s Hidden after testing the track during a back-to-back at Amnesia Ibiza. Lady Shaka’s ‘Sweat’ is out on NLV Records, a collaboration with DJ PGZ, DoloRRes and Zaila that began at an ADE writing camp in 2025.

Hyperdub has put out a four-track debut EP from Dance Fountain, built from field recordings and sparse, hypnotic arrangements. It is not on streaming services: the label is selling it digitally through its own webstore and on vinyl elsewhere.
