Skrillex has released a vinyl edition of ‘SOMA’ through Zion’s Gate Records in Seattle, a one-off in-store exclusive sold alongside a matching t-shirt and hoodie.

The record went on sale on Sunday, August 30 at 11am on a first-come, first-served basis. There was no online option at any stage: the vinyl was available over the counter at the Seattle shop only, and each customer was limited to a single copy.

The price list put the record at $40, with the cotton t-shirt at $45 and the cotton hoodie at $85, keeping the run within collector rather than mass-market territory. Queues formed outside the store before opening, with buyers arriving hours early, and photographs of Skrillex holding the record circulated later the same day.

The drop follows two collaborations from the producer this year, ‘Mirage’ with MPH and ‘Rumpta’ with Solomun. Taken together, they point to a working method built around one-off partnerships and physical objects rather than a standard album and single cycle.
